John Dallas Disbro Sr. “Dizzy” “Lucky”, 67, of Cincinnati formerly of Moores Hill, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Mount Washington Care Center. John was born on Saturday, February 18, 1956, in Milan; son of Dallas and Mildred (Davis) Disbro. John married the love of his life, Patricia “Patty” (Ellison) Disbro, on June 3, 1978, and she survives. John worked as a supervisor for the paint department at Hill-Rom in Batesville, and also worked at Argosy Casino. John was a volunteer firefighter for Moores Hill Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the Cincinnati Reds. Most of all John loved to spend time with his family and friends, and being a grandfather, “Papps.”
John will be missed by his wife Patty Disbro of Aurora; son John Disbro Jr. “Johnny” of Aurora; daughter Amanda “Mandy” (Kenneth) Bevis of Erlanger, Kentucky; and grandchildren Summer Laird, Branden Gordon, and Jon Demetsenare.
John was preceded in death by his parents Dallas and Mildred Disbro and sister Elizabeth Ann Posey.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given in honor of John to the family.
