Southeastern IN — The Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) says unemployment rates for all four Southeastern Indiana counties went down during the month of September.
Decatur County had the lowest jobless rate in the area at 1.8 percent, which was down sharply from 2.4 percent the month before.
Franklin and Dearborn counties were both at 1.9 percent in September.
Franklin County was at 2.4 percent in August, while Dearborn County stood at 2.6 percent that month.
And Ripley County was at 2.2 percent, down from 2.7 percent the month before.
