JoAnn (Brooks) Tice, 82, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Tuesday December 29, 2020 in Rising Sun, Indiana.
She was born September 13, 1938 in Aurora, IN, daughter of the late Ernest Brooks and Pheobe (Dudgeon) Brooks.
JoAnn was a member of New Life Southern Baptist Church. She used to enjoy picking on a guitar, working in her flower garden and watching tv. She loved animals, but especially cats, dogs and horses. Jo Ann loved to visit and talk with friends or play cards with anyone.
JoAnn is survived by son, John H. (Laura) Tice Sr. of Vevay, IN; grandchildren, John Tice, Jr. of Holton, IN, Cory Tice of Moorefield, IN, Nicole Tice, Dustin (Charmin) Tice of Vevay, IN, Josh Tice of Vevay, IN; nieces and nephews, Barb, Connie, Floyd & Dennis Tinsley; great grandchildren, Eric, Arya, Athena & Oliver Tice.
She was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Charles H Tice, siblings, Bill Brooks, Leroy Brooks, Betty Brooks Tinsley, Catherine Marie Brooks, and Verna Mae Brooks.
Friends will be received Wednesday, January 6, 2021, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Aurora, 6060 Blair Road, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the church on Thursday at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
