We’ve had a really impressive, exciting couple nights of boys’ sectional high school basketball around the region!  Of course the teams still alive are dwindling, but you’re familiar with a lot of them, and we hope you’ve enjoyed the broadcasts.  In Class 1A Wednesday, it was Jac-Cen-Del defeating Waldron 55-44, and South Decatur knocking out Edinburgh 44-38, along with in 3A, Batesville topping South Dearborn 49-45, and Connersville taking out Franklin County 30-25.

Semi-final games in each sectional are set for Friday, including Oldenburg Academy facing Morristown, Jac-Cen-Del against South Decatur, Lawrenceburg and Greensburg matching up, Connersville and Batesville too, South Ripley taking on Hauser, Switzerland County versus North Decatur, East Central against Columbus East, and Franklin Community battling Whiteland.

Then section championships, for the chance to go on to Regionals, come up Saturday.  Don’t worry, we still have a lot more games to bring you, here on WRBIRadio.com, and the Sports Voice, WRBI.  Of course, be sure to download our new WRBI app from your favorite app store, and you can take us with you everywhere.

Following a day off down southwest, the Reds get back to Cactus League spring training baseball games tonight.  First pitch between Cincinnati and the Dodgers is due to be thrown around 8:05 this evening.  Catch that action on 103.9 FM, as well.
