North Vernon, In. — Officials in Jennings County are investigating the death of a North Vernon woman who fell from a car on U.S. 50 Monday.
A report from the sheriff’s department says Jennifer Russell, 38, fell from the vehicle east of the State Road 750 roundabout. The driver, Kenneth Poole, 37, of Scipio, put Russell in the vehicle and transported her to St. Vincent’s Jennings Hospital around 8 p.m., she was later transported to an Indianapolis hospital where she died.
