Jeanette Christine “Chrissy” Ridener, age 42, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on March 12, 1974, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the loving daughter of, Darwin Harold, Sr. and Jeanette (Johnson) Ridener. She was raised in Vevay, Indiana where she was a 1993 graduate of the Switzerland County High School. Chrissy was a member of the Switzerland County High School Marching Band where she enjoyed playing the flute. Chrissy was currently employed as a material handler for Dorman Products in Warsaw, Kentucky, for 21 years. She was a member of the Switzerland County 4-H and the Markland Baptist Church in Markland, Indiana. Chrissy enjoyed riding horses, taking in stray animals, extreme couponing and raising her daughter, Aaliyah Michelle. Chrissy will be dearly missed by her loving family, friends and her community. Chrissy passed away at 8:02 pm, Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Kentucky.
Chrissy will be dearly missed by her loving daughter: Miss Aaliyah Michelle Ridener of Vevay, IN; her parents: Darwin Harold Ridener, Sr. and Jeanette (Johnson) Ridener of Vevay, IN; her special love for her nephew: Caleb Ridener of Vevay, IN; her brothers: Dobbie Ridener and his wife: Lisa of Vevay, IN, Kevin Ridener and his wife: Anita of Harrison, OH and Steve Ridener of Florence, IN; her sisters: Beth Ridener of Vevay, IN and Karen Ridener of Vevay, IN and her several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Edward and Clara (Redman) Ridener; her maternal grandparents: Clarence R. and Lorene (Lewis) Johnson and her niece: Shylah Ridener.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at 1:00 pm, by Pastor Patrick Lanman at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
