Osgood, IN — Jac-Cen-Del School Board President Jason Smith informed his fellow board members at this week’s meeting that the Superintendent vacancy has been posted, with a September 6 deadline for applications.
A survey has been posted to the school corporation’s website, asking the public for input on the qualities and attributes the school board and search committee should look for in the next superintendent.
The survey is confidential, and the board asks for only one response submitted per person.
Survey results will be reviewed by the school board and the search committee.
Former Superintendent Ryan Middleton resigned last month; high school principal Fred Unsicker is serving as interim superintendent.
