Janice Marie (Kuhlman) Sullivan, 74, of Dillsboro passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Waters of Dillsboro. Janice was born on Thursday, July 20, 1950, in Milan; daughter of Harold “Joe” Kuhlman and Sandie (Martin) Kuhlman. Janice married William “Ronnie” Sullivan, on January 30, 1971, and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2003. Janice worked at US Bank in Dillsboro as the bank manager, was clerk treasurer for The Town of Dillsboro, and served as Dillsboro Utilities manager. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Dillsboro American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, card club, and a past member of the Dillsboro Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, going on family vacations, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Janice will be missed by her son Jason (Felicia) Sullivan of Dillsboro; daughter-in-law Cassie (Brandon) Cappel of Rising Sun; brother Kelvin (Debbie) Kuhlman of New Albany, Indiana; sister Vickie Robinson of Lawrenceburg; and grandchildren Jackson (Rhianna Hughes) Sullivan, Emma (Nash Wood) Sullivan, Brady Cappel, Emma Burdette, Andrew Burdette, and Riley Sullivan.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents Harold “Joe” Kuhlman and Sandie Kuhlman; son Brian Sullivan; and brother-in-law Frank Robinson.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Janice from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Richard Kolaskey officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Janice to Dillsboro Volunteer Fire Department or Trinity Lutheran Church.
