Jane Ludwig

Jane Lutz Ludwig, 55 years old of Logan, passed away with her loved ones by her side on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Jane was born and raised in Colerain and graduated from Colerain High School. She later graduated from Mt. St. Joseph University and had a successful career working for US Bank for over 30 years. In Jane’s free time, she loved to crochet afghans and blankets and gave away several as gifts. But, the main love in her life was her family. Although they went to high school together, it wasn’t until after graduation that Chris and Jane starting dating. They kept running into one another around town so he took it as the sign that she wanted him to ask her out. Jane & Chris had their first date at a local Greek festival and the rest, as they say, is history. Clifty Falls was one of their favorite places to visit and this is where Chris proposed to Jane. Their love of laughter and having fun kept them going and their two children only brightened their marriage. Their son and daughter were Jane’s pride and joy, and she lived for each moment she got to spend with them.

Jane will be deeply missed by her husband of 31 years, Chris Ludwig and their children Alexandra (Alexander) Lierman and Chase Ludwig; parents Anita and Paul Lutz; sister Nancy (Guy) Liber; nephews Anthony Liber and Austin (Madison) Liber; and in-laws Kathleen & Jerome Edwin Ludwig.

Visitation for Jane will be held on Tuesday, June 6 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm at St. John the Baptist Church of All Saints Parish. For those unable to attend, the Mass will be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/user/aspweeklyhomily. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. Jane was a huge advocate for this foundation as she suffered from Ovarian Cancer. Memorials can be made online, given at the visitation or mailed to the funeral home. Family and friends are encouraged to leave condolences at www.andres-wuestefeldfh.com.
