James R. Saterfield Jr., age 65, of Brookville, Indiana died Monday, June 28, 2021 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born December 7, 1955 in Connersville, Indiana he was the son of the late James Russell Sr. & Gladys (Banks) Saterfield. On July 16, 1977 he was united in marriage to the former Lois A. Moore, and she survives.
Jim was retired from Square D in Oxford, Ohio where he had worked for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed camping and working on cars. He dearly loved his family, and enjoyed the role of Santa Claus at Christmas time.
Besides Lois, his wife of 44 years, survivors include a step-son, Dennis John (Bev) Nunier of Sunman, Indiana; four brothers, Ronald Saterfield, Dennis Saterfield, and Benjamin Saterfield all of Peppertown, Indiana and Daniel Saterfield of Metamora, Indiana; two step-grandchildren, Mallory & Johnathon; two step-great grandchildren, Tyrion & Oberon; as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ruth King.
Family & friends may visit from 5 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday July 2, 2021 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Pastor Kevin Waltz of Emmanuel Baptist Church, will officiate the Funeral Services Saturday, July 3, 2021, 10:30 A.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville. Burial will then follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
