James R Nieman, 47, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
He was born March 4, 1974, in Lawrenceburg, IN, son of the late James R. Nieman and Lutha (Vantyle) Nieman.
James was a News Courier for the Cincinnati Enquirer, with over 25 years of service. He was a former member of the Aurora Fire Department.
James was an avid coin collector. He loved music and enjoyed science fiction, especially Dr. Who.
James is survived by his siblings, Lisa (Bill) Granger of Marion, IN, Richard (Carroll) Nieman of Aurora, IN, George (Marcy) Nieman of Aurora, IN, Ken (Cheryl) Nieman of Aurora, IN; and several aunts & uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lutha Nieman; brother, John Nieman; nephew, Jonathan Nieman.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family per James’ wishes.
