James “Mikey” Fields, 52

James “Mikey” Fields, 52, of Greensburg passed away on September 10, 2023 at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born on August 26, 1971 in Greensburg, the son of James E. and Christine Fields. Mikey attended Greensburg High School and worked a for DSI and at McDonalds’s, and Noble Romans. Mikey enjoyed making his daily rounds around town and talking with all his friends. He loved mowing grass, watching Nascar, and watching IU Basketball. He helped anyone in need, and enjoyed spending time with his family and his little dog, Toto. He had a heart of gold.
Survivors include: Mother, Christine Fields; Brother, Chad (Amber) Fields; Nieces, Ashley (Jamie Gentry) Fields, Rebecca (Andy) Saylor; Michaela (Chuy Leon) Fields; and Charleigh Fields; Great Nieces and Nephews, Lanceton Dickman, Roman Leon, Savanna Leon, Dawson Saylor, Hayden Saylor, Corbyn Saylor, Avery Saylor, Destin Gentry and Brylie Gentry; Aunt, Carolyn Fields; Uncle, Charlie Brown and Special Cousin, Thomas Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his Father, Grandparents; Fiancé, Melinda Daniel; Uncles, Archie Fields, Phil Fields and Eddie Wolfe; and Aunts, Kathy Wolfe and Dana Brown.
