DECATUR COUNTY, IN — Indiana State Police is investigating the weekend death of a Decatur County Detention Center inmate.
Sheriff Dave Durant says 52-year-old Ricky Hazelgrove was found unresponsive in his cell on Saturday.
Durant says jail personnel performed CPR on Hazelgrove before he was taken to Decatur County Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No other information is being released right now.
In a statement, Durant said he would like to offer his condolences to Hazelgrove’s family and is asking for prayers for his loved ones.
