
Jaeger graduated from Purdue Polytechnic University with a degree in Engineering and a certification in Electrical Engineering. He worked as an engineer for NSK Manufacturing in Liberty, Indiana, and was also a farmer at Alden Rose Farms, Inc. in Connersville.
Aside from spending time with the love of his life, Jill, Jaeger enjoyed working with his “Pap,” riding ATVs with his neighbors, the Faulks, gaming with his best friend, Jett, and being with his mother, sisters, and Jill’s family. He dearly loved his animals, Luna and Lynx. He also enjoyed building projects, traveling throughout the United States—especially out west—and biking.
He is survived by his wife, Jillian Rose of Connersville; his mother, Bettina (Ray) Ronnebaum of Connersville; his sisters, Huntyr (Nick) Bischoff of Guilford, Indiana, and Jayden (Sidney) Fox of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; his nephews, P.J. and Sutton Bischoff; his paternal grandparents, James and Rickie Rose of Connersville; his maternal grandmother, Antoinette “Toni” Hanson of Connersville; his father- and mother-in-law, Bill and Barb Hartman of Batesville; his sister-in-law, Cara (Kate DeGategno) Hartman of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; his brother-in-law, Ryan Hartman of Batesville; and his sister-in-law, Kelli (Jack) Napoleon of Old Hickory, Tennessee.
Additional family members include his aunt and uncle, Aaron and Dee Dee Rose; cousins Austin and Jett Rose; and Dustin, Tori, and Trevor Hanson.
Jaeger was preceded in death by his father, Jason Rose; his uncle, Benjamin “Bo” Hanson; and his maternal grandfather, Hollis Ward Hanson II.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 1, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville, with Fr. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life immediately following at the Knights of Columbus, which will conclude at 4:00 pm.
