Jacqueline Auxier Beckett of Lawrenceburg, Indiana passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Ridgewood Health Campus. Jacqueline was born on Friday, June 5, 1931 in Johnson County, East Point, KY daughter of Sam and Alka (Johnson) Auxier. Jacqueline married the love of her life Robert T Beckett and they were married for 67 years. Jacqueline was a member of the First Baptist Church, Aurora, Indiana.
Jacqueline is survived by her nieces Sharon (Don) Berninger of Hephzibah, GA, Delilah (David) Sneed of Dillsboro, IN, Robin (Rufus) Barton of Hephzibah, GA, Melinda (Robert) Taylor of Coldwater, MI, Teresa (Steve) York of Dillsboro, IN and Kim Collins and Georgene Suffridge both of Louisville, KY, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews,
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Alka Auxier, her husband Robert T Beckett, sisters and brother-in-law’s Gertrude (Melvin) Selmeyer, Lona (Russell) Price, Audrey (George) Collins, brother Randall Auxier, and nephew Jerry Selmeyer.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro, Indiana with Pastor William Secrest officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Aurora First Baptist Church or Oakdale Cemetery Fund.
