Jac-Cen-Del avenges volleyball tournament loss to Edinburgh

Jac-Cen-Del avenged an earlier volleyball tournament loss from the weekend when the Eagles beat Edinburgh Tuesday: 25-23, 18-25, 25-23 and 25-21.

“There was a great improvement from the sets played over the weekend which was evident in the ability to pull out the win in four close sets,” said JCD coach Cat Schmeltz. “I am extremely impressed with the fight our kids showed. All four sets were very competitive and required a great deal of focus and grit to pull out the win. There are still areas we need to clean up but, overall, I am happy with our performance at this early point in the season. Our seniors showed tremendous leadership. They are a huge asset to our program overall.”
