J.H. sports recaps from May 9 and 10

The following are junior high school event recaps from Monday, May 9 and Tuesday, May 10.  There may be updates, so please check back.

In junior high golf, Batesville won a tri match at Hillcrest shooting 183.  St. Louis posted 228 and South Dearborn competed with less than a full squad.

Isaac Weber was low for BMS with a 42.  Landon Raver followed with 45. Rylan Hill’s 54 led the Cardinals.

Batesville- Cooper Phebus 46, Wes Peters 50, Zoey Ahern 50, Ian Hixson 51, Jon Moody 51, Kaiden Eckstein 53, Grace Saner 54, Brycen Miller 56 (personal best), Noah Davis 56, Brody Gibson 61, Alexis Gallagher 63, Adelyne Koehne 64 (personal best).

St. Louis- Augie Hillenbrand, Sam Richardson and David Koch all 58s.

St. Louis also had a match with St. Mary’s of Greensburg at North Branch. St. M beat St. Lou 206-217.

Hill again was low for the Cardinals with a 52. Caleb Mohr was a shot back at 53.  Hillenbrand and Richardson both posted 56.

In junior high softball, North Decatur outgunned Waldron 15-10.

The Chargers Elizabeth Meister had a four-hit game.  Teammates Madison Rohls and Jo Whitaker had two hits each.

In junior high track, the North Decatur boys won their first meet of the season outscoring South Decatur 69-54.

Eli Weisenbach was a three-time individual winner for ND.  Branden McBride, Connor Goolsby and Tyler Stephen also had victories.
