BATESVILLE, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College has received a $10,000 donation from the United Community Bank Charitable Foundation to establish a scholarship fund for high school students attending the College’s Ivy Manufacturing dual-enrollment program.
The $10,000 donation made in September will establish the Ivy Manufacturing Innovative Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships for high school students attending Ivy Manufacturing at the Ivy Tech Batesville and Lawrenceburg campuses.
In the Ivy Manufacturing program, high school students attend college courses on Ivy Tech campuses and study under the guidance of Ivy Tech professors.
They earn 24 college credits in Advanced Manufacturing, Design Technology, and Industrial Technology program areas.
