(West Harrison, IN) – Indiana State Police troopers and the the agency’s Motor Carrier Division conducted “Operation Guardrail,” a targeted enforcement patrol of commercial vehicles, on I-74 at the West Harrison Weigh Station near the Indiana/Ohio state line in northern Dearborn County on Tuesday.
Troopers say seven arrests were made; seven traffic citations and 43 warnings were issued; 94 inspections were conducted; there were eight out-of-service violations, and three police services during the enforcement blitz.
