(Dearborn County, IN) – Troopers from the Indiana State Police Versailles Post conducted a DUI patrol in Dearborn County near Lawrenceburg on Friday, July 31.
Two people charged with drunk driving were removed from the roadways, according to Sgt. Stephen Wheeles.
In addition, troopers wrote 37 traffic tickets; issued 43 warnings; made six additional alcohol-related arrests, and there were 11 criminal arrests.
Sgt. Wheeles says troopers from the ISP-Versailles Post will continue conducting special patrols at selected locations in Southeastern Indiana, using available resources and manpower to target those who are engaged in criminal activity on roadways and in area communities.
