Statewide—The IHSAA has announced that the Boys’ basketball Tournament will continue as scheduled but with restricted attendance to only essential staff and immediate family defined as parents of the players, grandparents, siblings of players, student staffers, all coaches, support staff, and school administrators of the schools. Credentialed media members are also allowed to attend the regional event. Each school will be limited to 75 people in attendance excluding 12 players.
Bobby Cox with the IHSAA stated that as they continue to monitor, further steps in the tournament could change but that currently 15 of the 16 sites will be held in counties that have had no one test positive for COVID-19.
