Irma Catherine (Silcott) Kreimer, 79, of Osgood passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Ripley Crossing. Irma was born on Sunday, March 2, 1947, in Covington, Kentucky; daughter of Ralph and Irene (Caddell) Silcott. Irma married James “Jim” Kreimer on December 17, 1983, and he preceded her on March 13, 2010. Irma enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, making ceramics, and doing every type of craft. She also enjoyed reading and going on walks.
Irma will be missed by her daughter Cathy (Jason) Hughes of Osgood; cousins Paul Mayer, Mark Caddell, Carol Roark, Susan Roeder, and Chad Caddell; and granddaughter Becca (Allie) Meister of Osgood.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Irene Silcott; husband Jim Kreimer; son Michael McCarty; and sister Barbara Silcott.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chad Schwering officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Irma to Ripley County Humane Society.
