Investigation continues into call that prompted school shelter-in-place

GREENSBURG, IN — The investigation continues into a crisis hotline phone call traced back to Greensburg Community Schools property Friday afternoon.

School officials instituted a shelter-in-place and Greensburg Police began securing school properties shortly after the call was received.

Authorities say students and staff were never at risk.

Police say they have identified the source of the call and their report will be forwarded to the Decatur County Prosecutors Office for review.
