IN’s Jobless Rate Goes Up Slightly in June

(Statewide) – Indiana’s unemployment rate went up slightly in June.

The state’s Department of Workforce Development says Indiana’s jobless rate last month stands at 3.8%, which was up from 3.7% in May.

By comparison, the national unemployment rate for June stands at 4.1%.

Indiana’s total labor force stands above 3,378,707, which is up more than 1,527 from the previous month.

As of July 17, there were more than  96,433 open job postings throughout the state.
