A downpour swept through Middle Tennessee on Sunday evening, ending track drying at Nashville Superspeedway from earlier storms and forcing the postponement IndyCar NTT’s Music City Grand Prix to 3 p.m. Monday, July 20.
In addition, the race distance has been reduced from 300 to 225 laps due to a forecast of record temperatures and a heat index over 100 degrees.
Kyle Kirkwood will lead the 25-car field to the green flag from the pole.
Josef Newgarden is the defending champ.
