Indiana passes 1 million COVID-19 cases

STATEWIDE — Indiana has surpassed the 1 million mark in COVID-19 cases.

The Indiana Department of Health on Monday reported 701 more Hoosiers have tested positive for the coronavirus.

That brings the total number of cases since the first confirmed case in the state in March 2020 to 1,000,163 through midnight Sunday.

Locally on Monday, Ripley County reported seven new cases; Dearborn County had three positive cases, and Decatur and Franklin counties each reported two new cases.

There were no new deaths reported in the four-county area.
