Indiana Farm Bureau endorses Randy Frye

Indianapolis, In. —    Indiana Farm Bureau AgELECT, the organization’s nonpartisan political action committee, has endorsed State. Rep. Randy Frye, R-Greensburg, for re-election to represent House Dist. 67. The district includes all or part of Dearborn, Decatur, Jefferson, Jennings, Ripley, Ohio and Switzerland counties in Southeast Indiana.

“It is an honor to receive the support of Indiana Farm Bureau AgELECT,” Frye said. “Having been raised on a family farm, and through working with the ag community as a legislator, I have a deep appreciation for the role of agriculture as a huge part of the state’s economy.”

Among the many agriculture-related initiatives Frye has supported include legislation he authored which provides protection to farmers from liability related to agritourism activities.

AgELECT endorsements are made through a multi-step process, beginning with recommendations from Indiana Farm Bureau members who live in the district. AgELECT’s endorsements are recognition of candidates’ support of policies that will foster a positive environment for agriculture and rural communities across the state.

Frye has represented House Dist. 67 since 2010 and resides on a small farm in rural Decatur County.
