STATEWIDE — The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is ending its online wait time feature for now.
The BMV added the online wait time information as a way of managing crowds after the coronavirus forced the closing of many of its offices in the early days of the pandemic in March 2020.
BMV officials say the times posted online were often inaccurate.
The agency is now concentrating on hiring more workers so it can accommodate more people at BMV branches across the state.
