Milan, IN — It’s “pardon our dust” time this summer at Milan Community Schools. All three school buildings on the Milan campus will undergo some type of construction project in the next couple of months.
Superintendent Jane Rogers says there will be new roofs and upgraded office entries at both the middle and high schools. The elementary school will also have updated entries and new ceiling tiles installed throughout the building.
In addition, the four portable buildings that have been to the side of Milan Elementary since the early 1990s will be removed. Rogers says removing those buildings will improve the pickup and dropoff area, and create more parking spaces.
