Howard L. McAbee, 74, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
He was born January 12, 1948, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late George McAbee and Vivian (Wetzel) McAbee.
He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.
He worked as an Electronic Technician for Weirton Steel Company, with over 30 years of service.
Howard loved to play baseball and softball. He was an avid Steelers Fan. Howard loved attending the grandkids sporting events. He enjoyed woodworking, and construction, even doing work on his own house and building kitchen cabinets. Howard enjoyed Rock & Roll music. He loved his dog Jasmine, but his greatest joy was time spent with his family, especially his great grandson, Maverick.
Howard is survived by his loving spouse, Barbara (Babasina) McAbee, daughters, Richelle Exley of Aurora, IN, Milissa (Andy) Terrill of Aurora, IN; siblings, Judy Reineke of Weirton, WV, Dennis (Michele) McAbee of Weirton, WV; grandchildren, Kaylene Harbert, Morgan (Devon) Terrill, Austin Terrill, Abby Terrill; great-grandchildren, Maverick Harbert, Brinlei and August Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Vivian and brother, George McAbee.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home. Colorguard services will be held at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
