Howard Francis Barlow, 88 of Dillsboro passed away January 18, 2018 at Waters of Dillsboro. Howard was born March 18, 1929 in Independence, KY the son of Howard and Hazel (Cheeseman) Barlow. Howard was an Army Veteran during the Korean War. He worked for Aurora Casket for over 30 years. He enjoyed being a farmer.
Howard is survived by sister: Helen Harnist. He was preceded in death by one brother: Elmer Barlow.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday January 20, 2018 at Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Fehrman officiating. Burial will follow in Independence Highland Cemetery in Independence, Ky. Visitation will be Saturday 9-10 a.m. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Donor’s choice.
