(Ripley County, IN) – U.S. 50 between County Road 300 West and U.S. 421 west of Versailles was closed for several hours this morning due to a house fire.
Authorities say the house was fully engulfed, but that all of the occupants made it out safely.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene on the 1900 block of U.S. 50.
The initial call came into Ripley County Dispatch shortly after 4:30 this morning.
The highway was shut down around 5 am and reopened just before 9:30.
