(Greensburg, IN) – The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County (Hospital Foundation) proudly hosted its 2026 Annual Gala, bringing together more than 400 community members, leaders, businesses, donors, and healthcare advocates for an evening centered on generosity, connection, and purpose.
Thanks to the incredible support of attendees and sponsors, this year’s event raised more than $143,000 for healthcare initiatives benefitting local patients and families served by Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH).
As the Hospital Foundation’s largest annual fundraising event, the Gala reflects both the strength of the community and a shared commitment to advancing care close to home. Guests enjoyed an evening of exceptional cuisine, entertainment, and both silent and live auctions, each moment reinforcing the impact collective giving has on local health and wellness.
Funds raised will support key priorities at DCMH, including innovative technology, patient-centered programs, and services that enhance the overall care experience. Throughout the evening, guests were also encouraged to support initiatives that expand access to preventive care and screenings, helping individuals take proactive steps toward better health.
“Seeing our community come together in such an incredible way at this year’s Gala was truly inspiring,” said Mandy Lohrum, Director of the Hospital Foundation. “The generosity, energy, and support shown throughout the evening will have a lasting impact on Decatur County Memorial Hospital and the patients we serve every day.”
