Hoosiers 50-54 can now register for the Covid-19 vaccine

Statewide — The Indiana Department of Health announced today during Governor Eric Holcomb’s weekly Covid-19 briefing, that Hoosiers age 50 and older are now eligible to receive a free COVID-19 vaccine. On Tuesday, Hoosiers 55-59 were added to the list of those that are able to be vaccinated.

Hoosiers who do not have a computer or cell phone or those who need assistance scheduling an appointment can call 211 or contact one of Indiana’s Area Agencies on Aging or AARP. Nearly 70 libraries around the state also are helping Hoosiers schedule their appointments.

Locally, Margaret Mary Health will also help register people by contacting your Margaret Mary Health primary care provider’s office for assistance.
