Honda Greensburg engineer named to “Rising 30 Class of 2022”

GREENSBURG, IN — An electrical engineer at the Honda Manufacturing of Indiana plant in Greensburg has been named a member of the “Rising 30 Class of 2022” by Conexus Indiana.

Charles Messmore Jr. is credited with leading teams that test, install and validate new equipment at the plant, and makes sure the latest additions to Honda vehicles perform as desired.

Information from Conexus Indiana indicates Messmore was recently involved in quality validation for the 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback.

Messmore was nominated by fellow Honda associate Branden Nobbe.

“I would consider Charles a rising star because of the fact that he’s already accomplished so much as a young engineer,” Nobbe said. “Honestly, he’s a mentor for the other associates. Charles has learned, in only a few years, what you hope to see out of senior-level engineers.”

Messmore has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University.

Conexus Indiana is a non-profit organization whose goal is to strengthen the Hoosier State’s competitive edge in manufacturing and logistics.
