Homegrown tomato preservation program to held Tuesday evening at BMPL

BATESVILLE, IN — Hoosiers love their homegrown tomatoes, and a Laurel woman will offer a program at the Batesville Memorial Public Library Tuesday evening to help teach us how to preserve them.

The program hosted by Sarah Cross is called “Preserving the Summer Tomato Harvest.” She will present ways to preserve our tomato harvests and share a little about her homesteading adventures.

Cross is the co-founder of Crossbuckle Homestead in Laurel.

The program starts at 6 pm Tuesday. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
