Clark County, IN—Though it has not been reported in the Southeastern Indiana region, our neighbors to the south, Clark County, are reporting that two men in a white truck are posing as Clark County REMC employees. These men are stating that they need your help outside to locate property lines. While outside, the other man proceeds to burglarize your home.
They would like to remind the community that REMC will never come inside your home to check on your service and if REMC has any questions regarding your electric service we will contact you first by phone. Some advice on if you ever feel uncomfortable with a service provider wanting to come in your home, call the service to verify first.
