(Holton, IN) – The Holton Water Corporation is conducting a main replacement.

As a result, customers from North County Road 100 North to U.S. 50 in Holton will have water service temporarily interrupted, and will be under a boil advisory for the next 48 hours.

A Boil Advisory is a precautionary measure issued by the water utility to alert customers when there is a potential for compromised water quality.

It is recommended that you boil all water used for drinking and for food preparation for two minutes.

Water used for laundry, showering, shaving, and watering grass or plants is safe to use without boiling.
