Ripley County, in. — Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Holton man following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle report Thursday around 1:30 a.m.
Officers found Joshua Gotts, 35, at a residence on County Road 300W south of U.S. 50. When deputies noticed criminal indicators a police canine was called. After canine officer Czar gave a positive indication to drugs in the vehicle police found methamphetamine, marijuana, paraphernalia and a controlled substance. .
While handcuffed and during the sear Gott fled on foot but was quickly captured and taken into custody.
Gott faces multiple drug charges and is being held in the Ripley County Jail.
