Indianapolis, In. — Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) delegation wrapped up their time in France, concluding a productive series of meetings with global business leaders, industry associations and government officials aimed at strengthening economic ties between Indiana and France. France is the largest European importer of Hoosier-made goods, and the new, nonstop transatlantic flight between the Indianapolis International Airport and Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris provides even more opportunity to connect with partners abroad.
“Nearly 29,000 Hoosiers have careers with French companies, making France the third-largest source of international jobs in Indiana,” said Gov. Holcomb. “We’re here to strengthen those relationships and work to move France even higher up the list.”
