Hite Named Ripley County Lilly Scholar

(Ripley County, IN) – Ripley County’s 2025 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipient goes to school outside of the county, but he lives in Ripley County.

The Ripley County Community Foundation has announced that Switzerland County High School senior Roman Hite is this year’s recipient of the prestigious scholarship.
The community foundation says Hite has made has made an impressive impact through his involvement in FFA, serving as President and Vice President of Business Professionals of America, as a member of the Spanish Club, and as Class President.
He’s also been active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pep Club, and as a dedicated athlete in Varsity Baseball, Soccer, Swimming, and Bowling.
As a Lilly Scholar, Hite will receive four years of tuition to the Indiana college or university of his choice, along with an annual book stipend.
