Helen Jane AmRhein, 90

Helen Jane AmRhein, 90, of Greensburg passed away on January 18, 2022 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 13, 1931 in New Point the daughter of Otto and Helen (Megley) Maynard. Helen was a 1949 graduate of New Point High School. She married William AmRhein on September 3, 1949 and together they had two sons William and Robert. Helen worked at Bohn Aluminum. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensburg.
Survivors include: Son, William (Shirley Alexander) AmRhein; Grandsons, Jeff AmRhein and Brian (Brandi) AmRhein; Great Grandchildren, Devin, Caleb, and Kassidy; and Brother, William “Mike” Maynard. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, William AmRhein; Son, Robert AmRhein; Brothers, Howard Maynard, Arnold Maynard, Gordon Maynard, Clifford Maynard and John Maynard; and Sister, Shirley “Beth” LaFountain.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland Howe Funeral Home on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 10:00 until the time of the Funeral at 11:00 am. Pastor Gregory Redd will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church.
