Heather Lynn Clayton Freeman, age 50, of Versailles, Indiana entered this life on August 23, 1973 in Dearborn County, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late William and Marilyn Spurlock Clayton. She was raised in Ripley County and Cincinnati, Ohio. She received her GED from South Ripley High School in Versailles, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Charles Freeman in 1999 at the New Marion Baptist Church in Ripley County. She was blessed to raise two daughters, Megan and Alexis and a son, Benjamin. She was of the Christian faith and had worked for Mirrus in Versailles as a inspector. She enjoyed watching and caring for her niece, Kenna, loved reading and being with family. Heather died on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 9:19 p.m. at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
A LOVING FAMILY
Heather will be missed by her loving daughters, Megan Ramey and her husband, Andrew of Greensburg, Indiana, Alexis Freeman of Versailles, Indiana; her loving son, Benjamin Freeman of Milan, Indiana; her sisters, Jill Marie Humphries of Versailles, Indiana, Sally Clayton of Madison, Indiana; her brother, William Clayton of Alabama; her grandchildren, Kinsley Marcum and Korra Marcum; her aunts, Carolyn Spurlock of Greenwood, Indiana, Trudy Thomas of South Carolina; her nieces and her nephews, Hailie, Aaron, Willow, and Alex; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, William Clayton, her mother, Marilyn Spurlock Clayton, her husband, Charles Freeman, died January 2, 2019, her brother, Justin Clayton, and her niece whom she cared for, Kenna Harper Wilson, died October 19, 2023.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., by Bro. Randy Thieman at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

Friends may visit Thursday from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
