Heat Advisory Through Thursday Evening

(Southeastern IN) – A Heat Advisory will be in effect from 2 p.m. Tuesday until 8 p.m. Thursday.

Heat index values up to 104 are expected.

The main concern is hot temperatures combined with high humidity causing heat illnesses.

You’re urged to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioning and out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Forecasters say you should also take extra precautions when outside.

Wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing; try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening, and take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
