Hazel (Barber) Martin, 63, of Aurora passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Hazel was born on Wednesday, August 9, 1961, in Frankfort, Kentucky; daughter of Carl and Mary Barber. Hazel married the love of her life, Rex Martin, and he precedes her. Hazel enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Rex.
Hazel will be missed by her sons Jason Martin of Aurora and Johnathon Martin of Frankfort, Kentucky; brothers Larry (Peggy) Barber of Frankfort, Kentucky and John Barber of Frankfort, Kentucky; sister Debra Green of Frankfort, Kentucky; 4 grandchildren Jasmine Martin and Danielle Goodpaster; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Mary Barber; husband Rex Martin; brother Carl Barber; and sister Clarice Burk.
There are no services at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Hazel to Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home to help the family defray funeral expenses.
