(Versailles, IN) – A popular local restaurant will close its doors next month.
The owners of Hassmer House Tavern and Inn on the courthouse square in Versailles say they are shuttering the establishment on May 19.
David and Rachael VanArtsDalen used the “Farm to Table” approach by partnering with local farmers to prepare food using fresh ingredients, meats, and produce.
They also offered hand-crafted cocktails, craft beer, and local wine.
The VanArtsDalens opened Hassmer House in early 2022 after they moved to Versailles and renovated an old building to transform it into restaurant space.
