Hamlin discharged from UC Medical Center, returns to Buffalo

Cincinnati, OH — Damar Hamlin left UC Medical Center Monday and returned to Buffalo, one week after going into cardiac arrest during the Monday Night Football game against the Bengals at Paycor Stadium.

Doctors in Cincinnati said throughout last week that the Buffalo Bills safety was making remarkable improvement.

The 24-year-old Hamlin, who is a second-year player out of the University of Pittsburgh, will continue his recovery in a Buffalo hospital.

It’s not clear yet if Hamlin will be able to resume his NFL career.
