Hacker named South Decatur boys basketball coach

Jason Hacker has been named boys head basketball coach at South Decatur HS.

He succeeds Kendall Wildey, who stepped down following the 2021-22 season after five years of guiding the Cougars.

Hacker has coached AAU teams for the past 10 years and has experience in player development.

This will be his first varsity coaching gig.

Maurice Buckner will serve as JV coach and as the top varsity assistant, while Keegan Jewell will stay on in Westport as the floating assistant and video coordinator.
