H.S. baseball recaps from Tuesday, May 3

The following are high school baseball recaps from Tuesday, May 3. All events are varsity unless noted otherwise.  There may be updates, so please check back.

North Decatur scored seven times in the fifth inning and beat Waldron 12-1.

The Chargers Brayden Hancock allowed just one hit, fanned 11 and walked none.  Nate O’Dell had two of ND’s six hits.

Batesville’s JV beat the Golden Bears in Shelbyville 11-1.

Bulldog pitcher Eli Loichinger pitched four innings of one-hit ball with eight strikeouts.  Offensively, Carson Schneider had three hits with a ribbie and Bobby Weiler drove in three runs on two hits.

East Central lost 13-3 at Columbus North.  The host Bull Dogs broke the game open with four runs in both the fifth and sixth innings.

For a second straight game, the Trojans Brayden Rouse doubled and homered with two RBI.  Luke Vogelgesang plated EC’s other run.
