(Brookville, IN) – A Brookville woman has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in a fatal shooting.
Crystal Pence was accused of shooting and killing her brother Ronald at Riverfront Apartments on Fairfield Avenue in December 2024.
She was was originally charged with murder but entered a guilty plea to the lesser felony count during a pre-trial hearing in Franklin Circuit Court on Wednesday. \
Pence is scheduled to be sentenced on September 23.
She is facing 10 to 30 years in prison and probation for life.
